Ready For Christmas

I know I am more than a little late on this post, but hey... at least I am trying to catch you all up before the new year! LOL :D

We got our Christmas tree the second week of December. Ellie and I stayed home because of the cold, and we left picking out the tree and cutting it down to Daddy and Brother. Here is a picture of the tree they picked out. I think it is a pretty amazing tree if you ask me!

Next we have Ellie ready for Christmas in her Christmas dress :) She looked absolutely adorable and gave me a ton of smiles when I was taking her picture!

And last we have Ellie with "Santa" at the Malson Christmas Party ( Titus' grandma's side of the family). "Santa" was Ellie's Great Uncle Jeff Fox. He made an excellent "Santa" :) As you can see Ellie was most interested in the wrapping paper on her gift...

I didn't get a picture of TJ with "Santa" because he took his gift and ran.. lol. He was very excited to see what "Santa" brought him which was a new box of crayons WITH a sharpener in the back. T.J. has been asking for a box of crayons with a sharpener for a while now. So he was pretty happy when he got them from "Santa".

Thanksgiving ( Yes I Am A Slacker!!)

So I really have been neglecting this blog... guess it is time to catch you all up on Ellie's first Thanksgiving!

We were very blessed this year to not only have Ellie with us for Thanksgiving, but also my Uncle Benji, Aunt Jo Ann, and Granny were able to come up from North Carolina to visit us! This was Great Uncle Benji and Aunt Jo Ann's first time seeing their great neice, but she took to them fairly well with minimal tears shed. ( She is very attached to her mommy and daddy..lol) Ellie LOVED her Great Granny.. but really.. with Granny... what's not to love? <3

Here are a few pictures of them and the kids:

Also joining us for Thanksgiving was my Grandma Dee, Uncle Bruce from Wisconsin, and Uncle Jeff from New York :)

Here are a few pics of them and T.J. enjoying the feast:

Miss Ellie was able to enjoy some of the Thanksgiving dinner thanks to grandma's food processor. Here she is eating her first Thanksgiving meal :)

Everyone contributed to the feast and it all tasted delicious.. as usual. :)
